Speculation began earlier this year about Activision developing a DS accelerometer peripheral to be bundled with one of their upcoming games. In other words an accessory allowing you to use motion controls Wii Style. The Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC) has revealed that Tony Hawk’s Motion for the Nintendo DS has passed classification and earned a 'G' rating.
Activision's Mike Griffith recently mentioned that an unnamed game (at the time of the comment) will "utilize new technology not yet seen on the DS" sparking rumours of the motion-sensing peripheral.
Activision has seen immense success with the Guitar Hero: On Tour DS attachment, so it wouldn’t come as a shock to see them dabbling in new attachments for the DS. Activision are yet to make an official announcement but it looks as though the OFLC has taken one for the team by revealing the title via the classification process.
