What about video games?

To a passionate gamer (and I mean the type that gets kicked out of Uni from sitting in an arcade 9 hours a day or the ones that lined up 12 hours prior to the initial release of the PS2) says nay.

Or to the casual gamer who says at the end of the day, IT IS JUST A GAME.

There is more to a game sometimes - because doesn't it suck when you waste soo much time on something only to get game over at the last second.. or to waste soo much time, when the answer was soo simple and soo stupid. MORE THAN JUST A GAME.

it also depends what games you play. there're casual games, like mario kart, nintendogs and such that are great entertainment for a while, but it's not something you'd devote yourself to.

On the other hand, mainly MMORPG's and such[WoW, Rag, Guild Wars etc]are the ones that people devote their keyboards and red bulls to. its these sorts of games that make you go "oh wow, i never knew 17925600 people world wide played this game too!" are what make games a lifestyle.
