well i like all women acutally...

but for bands, favorite has to be Manowar... but i love anything on the heavy side... 80's hair bands, Twisted Sister (Dee still gets it done with SMF), Metallica early stuff as they are sellouts and i dont care for them because of it... but their rendition of whiskey in the jar is the best so far, Kiss, Joan Jett, Ratt, Quiet Riot, Iron Maiden, the list goes on and on...

Gee, aren't you touchy on the subject.
Relax, it's an actual psychological study as well.

People who listen to their music either like the story the artist is trying to send out, agree with the artists views or just like the melody without having to listen to the actual words.

Now you could say that one listens to many genres of music. The favorites tend to reflect the personality, whereas the others are an escape or a regulator of your mood.

ie. Musicians who are vocal tend to attract people who are extroverts or those who desire to be an extrovert.
