The series centers around a high school student (Light) who discovers a supernatural notebook (the 'death note') that allows him to kill anyone by writing the victim's name and picturing his or her face.. it pretty much goes on from there.
Just watch an episode on youtube. Jap subbed is way better than English dubbed.. as usual
