hmm, not exactly. I think that it could reclaim the Speed they lost in SSBB, y'know, with the Wii-mote.

I dont understand what your trying to say. are you saying that SSBB wasnt good cause of the wiimote? Well they have 2 other controll schemes that didnt use the wiimote. Im not trying to sound like your stupid I just dont know what your sayin. Please explain

you may or may not notice this, but Brawl had slower combat than Melee and the original, it was made slower to accomodate users with the Wii-mote.

and Brawl was still amazing.

You are correct and I believe that was the fact that nintendo made it WAY to noob friendly. They should have sticked with the old GC gameplay. It was alot better. And thank you for clearing up what you were sayin I was SO confused

If they ever did come out with one it'd probably have no story mode unless they used the GC format where you just fight people and there would be like 8 characters. Probably just what I think

itll take ages for them to get it 100%, but there is a team working on a homebrew smashbros. there are 2 threads with links to it..

Nannda, I was just about to suggest JUS as a DS SSB clone. I found an English Text patch for it, so I can still understand a portion of it.

SSB on DS if made officially probably would be what Elite Beat Agents was to Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan in terms of JUS.

In JUS however, there are the koma panels, I have no idea what the English interpretation would be, seeing as you would need to use the D-Pad and the Letter buttons, making any hard-touchscreen motions something not worthit.

SSB on a DS huh? I think that might work. we already love the gameplay and concept of the game itself. Adding some features with the touch screen is no biggie! They could make trophy mini games to go along with the touch screen. or even for a story mode of some kind do the same thing in Mario Bros. 3 where you can save items and select them to appear during the battle from the bottom screen or assist trophies you find ya know something like that. another thing is level building. drag and drop the building blocks and make custom levels like in Brawl or possibly make a draw feature that would be cool.

New characters are possible too. Character only for the DS!
