Nintendo Wi-Fi \ Wi-Fi Connection 1 vs Wi-Fi USB Connector - not together!?

Whenever I have the "Connection 1" "Ready" under Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Setup, then click into "Connect to your Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector" > "OK" > "OK", it displays "Unable to find the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector".

But after I erase the settings of Connection 1, then do it again, I can. Why?
