no... its not that simple..in the walkthrough it says go to the team rockets at 1 island guarding the entrance to the cave but i cant battle them it says when u beat them you will go through to the cave u grab the ruby and give it to some guy and he gives u the rainbow pass which makes u go through 4 5 and 6 islands but i cant verse the rockets they just say something dumb ive been through the pokemon league aswell so double no no

I believe you need to get the National Dex from Oak (or however you get it), then you'll be able to beat the Team Rockets on the island and get the Ruby and Sapphire items.
