The Pokemon video games first debuted in 1998 in two versions, Red & Blue, or the Japanese versions where Red & Green. The First to pokemon games saw massive success worldwide and where some of the best selling games of all time. Pokemon Fire Red (Red) & Leaf green (Blue) are each remakes or their respective games made with the engine of the game boy advance generation of Pokemon games. Pokemon Leaf green/ Fire Red's story copies that of red & blue, where the player starts out given either a Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle from Prof. Oak and Your rival in the story is given one two, unfortunately for you, he will always pick the pokemon with the ability to defeat yours. The player then goes through the storyline battling each gym leader and faces obstacles along the way, and finally is up to defeat the elite four. towards the end of the story the player can catch the three legendary birds, Moltres, Articuno & Zapdos, and eventually Mewtwo. This game will bring back many happy memories for those who played the original games. This game is more enjoyable for those who played the original games as a child. although, my Friend's brother who is 10 owns this game and loves it, although he never played the original games as a child. The Thing that differs from the original game to this one is that the extra Pokemon from the advance generation have been added to the original 150 Pokemon that we enjoyed from the first games. In short to Truly appreciate this game you had to have liked the original games as a child but those who haven't will still enjoy this game
