WarioWare: Twisted! - 9/10

My Review of:

By K-Man

Ok so you're out playing your GameBoy/DS and you kind of want to move around for some strange reason. You even want something that contains motion sensing. Unfortunately, there's no Wii around but you do have a special kind of game in your pocket that contains all those elements to your liking. From the WarioWare games, comes WarioWare: Twisted!. Wario is at it again with his fast-paced minigames in which you must complete in a matter of seconds. This game however comes with a twist! (Heh, get it?). No literally, it comes with a twist. WarioWare: Twisted! Actually makes you move the GameBoy/DS both left and right in order to complete the fast paced minigames. This adds more challenge to completing those fast paced minigames as you have to move around a LOT. Just be sure to not move yourself instead of the game or else you'll ended up making yourself sick and you wouldn't want that now do we? The game contains more than 200 minigames that ought to keep you occupied. It also includes prizes in which you can unlock such as toys that can be moved by of course moving the portable console.

Gameplay - 9/10
- So most of the time, you're moving around your console because that's the whole point of the game. While you're out playing and violently moving around your console just finish in time, other people are thinking you should belong in an asylum. But the game is really fun and enjoyable. The only problem though is that this game may not be for those who easily get motion sickness. The gameplay is unique however since this the first time you can kind of interact without just pressing buttons. Through the game, you may need to press the A and B buttons depending which character story you chose. It's good for those who want to take a break from moving too much.

The minigames is similar if you've played WarioWare games before. The minigames may be easy at first but if you do the hardest level, it'll leave you frustrated for the rest of day. And since his game has motion sensing, it'll make you frustrated even more! (i know i did) You also get 4 lives as usual. Make sure not to lose them! Oh and the minigames are timed so you better finish them in time. The harder the level is, the faster the time gets.

-Move the GameBoy/DS to your right and left and you'll soon shave everything from the man's chin. Hmm.... it feels silky smooth!

Story – 8.5/10
-Now as you know, the game holds more than 200 minigames. Each character in the story of the game has their own type of minigame that you must complete in order to unlock the other characters and their different types of minigames. You start out the story where Wario is playing his GameBoy Advanced and is furious when he keeps looking. Due to all the anger he had, he threw his GBA to the wall and broke it into pieces. Wario realizes the horrible mistake he’s done and thus goes to Dr. Crygor to get his GBA fixed. Dr. Crygor successfully fixes Wario’s GBA but for some reason it doesn’t have any buttons. Wario is furious at Dr.Crygor for making his GBA even worse. Dr.Crygor calms him down by showing him the new control feature in his GBA by basically moving it in order to complete the levels. Wario is happy that Dr.Crygor has made his GBA even more entertaining and then, like the greedy guy Wario is, hatches an idea to make Dr.Crygor to make more of these special moving GBA to make loads of money! And that’s when you start the game and the gameplay. You first play as Wario to get used to the controls and minigames aren’t times so there’s no rush. Once you finish Wario’s minigames, you will unlock another character and so on and so forth. You can even play him again to unlock the rest of the minigames you missed if want to unlock all 200 minigames.

-Each character has their own type of minigame, unlock them all, to play them all!

Conclusion
-So overall, this game is pretty entertaining. It has humor, fast paced minigames, and some fart jokes made by Wario. There are loads to unlock so it should keep you playing this game or weeks and it’s good for those times you need a quick play. But of course the minigames are all the same and is nothing new from past WarioWare games except for the feature which is the motion sensing and also like I said before, this game is not for those who easily gets motion sickness so but the game at your own risk. I give this game a 9 out of 10. The game is fun for its minigames, motion sensing, and unlockable bonuses.

Thanks for reading
