I've seen part of the video a while ago from links on Bulbapedia. The battle system isn't really changed (still turn-based and select your moves.) The major change is just the looks (that is, utilising the screen more.)
I wish people would research more before posting news here, it just makes it worse for the whole community if an article isn't giving all the details it should.
A more appropriate title for this post (considering the content) could be "Pokemon Sunday reveals new footage on (insert topic here)"
You failed to mention the video is 6 minutes long which can be a bother for those who have to be wary of their download limits.
