Ok, when I tried to turn on my DS with an R4 card(i've had it since last year) I got the error message "Could not find Menu.dat"
I plugged it into my usb and into the computer, the memory from previously is still occupied, but there are no files.
I had not yet backed up the data and i'm not sure of which is at fault, my DS, my R4(posssibly this, read below^) or the MicroSD. Help is definitely needed.
^- When I turned on my DS with the R4 in(no SD card however), the health warning screen didn't skip at the first blink of the "Touch to Continue", where last time I tried, it should've went to the R4 and said sd/tf card missing..
(My brother is helping me recover the files, however, I would like to know why and how it stuffed up.)
Other info: My R4 is the springloaded one, so that might mean something.
Edit~ Just opened up my R4 unit and cleaned it with my other tools, now I just get the "No SD/TF card" - brother still saving files
Edit~ This thread may be closed due to the R4 doin' some funkytown on my SD card, looks like i'll have to start Starfox, Assassins Creed and Mario/Sonic at the Olympics all over again.
