Ok fellow Nintendo DS owners we would like to get your opinions on the must have accessories for the DS.
Accessories that you have tried and tested and you think DS owners must have.
All the information collected in this thread will be used to create a guide that everyone can use as a reference so we'll be all working together on the one project

So just post below what you think. example.

 • DS screen protectors - If it wasn't for these my screen would be in a horrible condition

 • Flash Cart - turns my DS into a portable multimedia unit

 • Carry case - a handy accessory that stops me from leaving a trail of DS games and accessories where ever I go.

Spare Stylus- lets face it for some reason the DS stylus seems to go missing (how many have I gone through? Too many) without a spare stylus I'd be in some trouble.

Hard Case: the case needs a space for an extra stylus and some games. Soft cases are useless!

Flash (Edge) Card: NO more playing only ds games. Now you can play many other things with this little device.

MicroSD to USB: Carry it with me. Never know when you want to dump something new onto the flash cartridge.

Thicker Stylus: I have a thicker stylus so I don't get cramps holding a thin stylus too long. It is also good for drawing.

Gripper: I get cramps holding the thin DS for too long.

Ear Phones: Bit of privacy.

Pouch: I have a soft pouch which can clip onto your belt or has a strap to put around your neck.

Cartridge Case: I don't use one but my son does.

USB charger: For long night shifts as we are not allowed to plug our own electrical equipment into the power source.

Car charger: For long trips and for short trips when I forgot to charge the DS on mains.

There's place on Londsdale st Dandenong I can't remember the details of the top of my head but I can find out tomorrow.

WI-FI USB: this is the must get accessory! lets you go on the internet with some games.

DS SOUND AMP: Puts your ds sound to %100 but takes more charge away so charge before playing

R4 : who dosnt want to be able to watch movies,play music and look at pictures from your ds??

DS SKIN STICKER: a sticker that you can put on ur ds to make it look cool and keeps is clean.

DS CAR CHARGER : plug this in your car and charge up your ds while your on the move.

DS FM RADIO: lets you play the radio from your ds.

DS TV TUNER: lets you watch the tv on your ds!!

ACTION REPLAY: i know hacking is realy bad but this is a good buy if your not going to use wi-fi

DS CAMERA: lets you take pictures from your ds

DS CARRY CASE: carry your ds,stylus and games.

#1 Double Armor - Because I too have dropped my DS.
#2 CycloDS - To play games not accessible here, to play my SNES and NeoGeo games.
#3 Hori Screen protector - It's not essential since they make the screen less sensitive which in turn makes people put more pressure on the screen. But it's an anti-scratch measure.
#4 $20 Earphones - Good for the train. Don't want anyone else hearing my stuff.
#5 DS Cartridge Cleaner - Yes, I took it to the beach once and got sand in it.

Other items:
#6 Screwdriver Set - Repairs and battery change.
#7 Rubbing Compound - Remove scratches from the glossy surface.
