actually, shipping is not that bad at all... do some digging, but unless you are buying a 50" plasma/lcd for 1000 bucks, dont pay more than 15ish dollars in shipping... and right now, the au dollar is at 94cents to the american dollar, so if it costs a dollar in the states, you would be paying 1.06 for that item... so now is the time to buy anything you are looking for from america, it was always cheaper, but NOW it is a crime not to...

Amazon is okay, easy to find what you want most of the time and get it shipped over if you are too lazy to dig a bit for better deals... remember, google is your friend, and buy buy buy!!! that 130usd ds lite in all the kewl colors is only 138.52aud! even with the 10-15 dollar shipping it beats 186-200+ aussie prices... but look around at anything you might be thinking to buy, you will be surprised at the prices! yeah you might have to wait 7-10 days to get it, but in the long run, what's a couple weeks or less?

I purchase CDs of genres that are hard to get in Oz and end up paying on average $22 each CD for five or more CDs and includes postage.

Reasonable price for hard to get stuff and not downloadable on pirate sites etc.
