And the memory comes separately. You buy a NDS card reader (R4, M3, CycloDS etc..) and any Micro SD card with specified memory capacity (1GB, 2GB, 4GB or 8GB).

If you want large capacity, then R4 isn't for you.

The biggest size that know is 128MB. They're normally set sizes in powers of 2. And the sizes do vary from game to game.
