Hardware \ R4 bugging up.

Well recently, something happened to my R4 making it technically destroy the data on my SD. Now I noticed something extra weird. Whenever I load up Theme02, it splices with Theme01(top) and once I turn it off/turn it back on, it splices with the generic background.
This happens similarly on my Theme04(splices with 03) and with the off/on bug.

I don't know if this has happened because
a: there is dust in/on the connector
b: I scratched one of the connectors (I used a brush/air blowy thing to clean the inside of the R4 after it ate my SD)
c: due to it being carried in my schoolbag and some tumbles occuring, something went wrong
d: the powers that be just don't like me

Any thoughts?
Should I open the R4 again and see what went wrong, or should I leave it as is?
