Hardware \ ASUS Eee pc is it good

I have just been on google and they are releasing Asus Eee pc units installed with xp. BUt the price is AUD$559- AUD$579 so yeah i'm gonna get the ASUS Eee pc when i have the money. But i may have to get sd cards for that extra memory.

I think other than the weight advantage it still is pretty expensive for what you are getting. Consider that you can get a Dell Vostro 1400 with XP for $650 which is a more powerful laptop than the eeepc. But I guess its a totally different market so its a bit of an unfair comparison.

I would get one if it gets below $400 but not now.

I've seen the ASUS Eee pc at myer. They look small for a fully funtional computer.

Oh i just went to dicksmith power house to day to see if they had any Asus Eee pc. Unfortunetly they don't have any but i came across a macbook air and a macbook 13'' 2.1ghz.
Now the mackbook air is priced AUD$2499 and the macbook 13" 2.1ghz is priced AUD$1499. Now the macbook air has a 1.6ghz processor and a 2gbram and 80gb harddrive now for it's size it was just about above the ASUS Eee pc by 0.3 kg and is 1.9cm thick. Npw the macbook 2.1ghx is better and just about more weight than the macbook air it has a 2.1ghz prosessor and has 120gb but 1gb ram. Now there are expernsive but i like and willing to get one of them i want a notebook that weighs lees than averege laptops like the macs laptops and ASUS Eee pc so guys which one macbook air or ASUS Eee pc or macbook 2.1ghz 13". Thanks i would apprecite the help.

lol no, not similar to windows.

I don't have a mac, but I use them occasionally and I'm completely lost on one.

A girl I know who barely ever uses windows is completely lost when she has to use it at school.

Those are my three reasons, before MyMedia I was working as a freelance video editor and originally started out on Windows with Adobe Premier. I was a Mac user, then switched to PC for gaming, and then tried to do professional media work on it, and it just sucked. The OS/Application integration just wasn't there, it was clunky and slow to work with, and all up just wasn't a stable platform to work on. After switching BACK to Mac everything changed and I was able to to bigger and better things, and do them faster and more reliable.
I kid you not when I saw even mundane tasks I can do faster on a Mac.

If you're concerned about the differences in the interface, spend a couple of days with one and you'll be fine. The big difference is Macs work logically in terms of how you should be able to do things. Window's works like a 1980's computer interface.
With Windows, you have to speak the computers language
With Mac, the computer speaks your language, simple as that

3. iMovie and Mac Office (dunno the actual name, but yeah, has PP) are the equivelant.

EDIT:
Macs are confusing at first, but they're alright after a few tries with them.
