Hardware \ Charger Not Working

I purchased my DS Lite less than a month ago, and now it won't charge. When I plug my AC adapter into the wall the charge light doesn't come on. I have tried it on 3 different working outlets.

I will borrow a friends DS and charger tomorrow to narrow down the problem.

Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong with my DS?

ive had this problem in the past. don't know what it was but all i did was unplug the ds unplug the charger then turn the ds on then plug the charger into the wall then into the ds. it has happened to me 3-4 times.

if that doesn't work then randomly keep unplugging the plugging back in.

you can pick up usb/car chargers pretty cheap at random stores. i have one cost a mates mum $20ish bucks.
