Pokerus is a virus contracted in battle with wild POkemon. It is not a bad thing, actually it is a good thing. Pokerus doubles the amount of Effort Values, or EVs, your Pokemon gets when it levels up, much like the Macho Brace without the speed cut or item slot. It is very beneficial indeed, butgetting it is all up to chance.

And you recieve a Lopunny when its friendship lv is high enough, hope I helped

MrWiiman - thanks for the offer but my son says that a pokemon at lvl 80 would be sufficient - no need to leap ahead to lvl 100. He had a TORTERRA called ZYG which was his first pokemon in pearl. Since I'm a newbie at this forum and trading stuff you'll need to explain how we actually hook up for a trade that will work.

I'll search the forums to work out any abbreviations you might use - be kind - I'm only 47 years old .
