Sim City as all of you know has been on the PC for a very long time now and there have been many editions. The DS version has all that the features that the other ones have, you have the simple ingredients of that you build a city from scratch and as the days go into years your city builds and builds and you population grows, when building your city you can add Landmarks over time to make it look unique. You unlock certain buildings and Landmarks as your population grows which is total aim of the game, the touch screen controls are very easy to use but can be quite annoying at times when trying to highlight an area of a long space as the screen seems to go to quick and to far, it can get frustrating but it really isnt a big factor. You choose a supervisor to help you through the game and there is a number of them to choose from, there isnt any real difference and what take any effect on which one you choose they all do the exact same thing, the only difference is they have difference quotes and personality's and some corny jokes which funnily enough is a highlight in the game. You save your citizens from fire, monsters and other disasters which you can stop them destroying your city by using the touch screen and fending them off which I think is one of the cooler features in the game. The game is in entirely in touch which is really good but can be a bit tedious at time when you push down the action you are wanting may not work, you have to smack on when choosing an action and push down quite hard. The WI-FI is a great attribute with the game where you can contact other players and exchange landmarks. There are a number of landmarks to collect in the game which does make for long last ability but a big problem was that over time it ended up being the same thing over and over again and they game ended up being boring very quickly. Overall this game is alright its the not the greatest Sim City game created but is a decent edition to the DS, the graphics are ok but not the greatest, it can get blurry at time and when zoomed in the buildings and parks do not go into to much details, the music in the background is shocking and advice you to mute and have the MP3 player to listen to. If your a Sim City fan and love these type of games I suggest you to buy one, but if you are thinking of getting it and not to sure maybe think twice before buying it because it is quite lack luster.
