================================================================ This game is to me one of the greatest games of all time, and of course Nintendo made it. It is really just the same game as the Nintendo 64 game, where it was first released. Just the idea of being able to free roam and the great availability of space to roam around in made this game fun for everyone, i still remember sitting around the TV with my family taking turns to race that damn penguin. Nintendo brings people together. Although a few changes have been added to it of course, such as mini games and extended story etc. I won't get into detail here but read on for more! ================================================================ Story: It's a Mario game, the story is not of course the backbone of game, with only a large hint at the starting of where it all is going, and a climax at the end to finish it off. It is pretty much just the same old, 'Bowser takes Peach - You must rescue peach - You must collect a massive amount of something to open some thing to fight bowser - You are reunited with Peach' It is not amazing storyline but this is one of those few games that everyone loves and i know i do because it is of quality, the story makes things have boundaries in the game, if it was a story it would have to follow a path, and sometimes we need to space to just fly around and do whatever we want, to one minute be racing a penguin down a ice slide in the middle of a giant mountain, to soaring on magic carpets floating in the sky on rainbows. This game is perfect i think because in dropping out some story they managed to make it easier to focus on the key points of the game. Even with a dull story Mario 64 DS still manages to amaze You could go wherever you wanted...whenever you wanted... ================================================================ Gameplay: Oh boy was this the strong point of the game! After thinking through this game, i figured out this the main strong point of most great games like this. The gameplay to be able to go anywhere you wanted in this massive world and to have multiple missions in just one world, hidden secrets it was great fun. Again the main thing that keeps a game going is obviously it's length. This game is still one the biggest games i've seen. Even though i finished it in a week, i still remember it taking me about a full year the first time a played it on N64 it lasted forever (or at least seemed to). But the main thing that caught mine and everybodies attention was just how damn well it felt to play in 3D on this game, it wasn't as overwhleming as the other 3D games and for a DS game it handled it pretty well considering it TO BE CONTINUed, being edited day by day still to come, Graphics, Sound, Controls
