Metroid Prime hunters - 9/10
Ever wanted to play metroid prime but didn't want the trouble of the gamecube? well know you can! i know i, know "but Dr, how can that be?" with metroid prime ds its really possible!
This time around samus has been hired by the Galactic Federation to Secure the ultimate power or destroy. But be warned...your not alone.
CONTROLS
Instead of the traditional control pad and button scheme, hunters uses a combination of the touch screen, the d-pad and the shoulder buttons. The touch screen is used to turn, jump and move, the d-pad to walk, and the shoulders to shoot. if you don't like the touch screen configuration you can change to a configuration that use's the A,B, ect. buttons
GAME PLAY
Unlike others, instead of gaining a ability when you defeat a boss, you get a octualith (please pardon my spelling)
Hunters continues the metroid tradition of locking you in a room that you must defeat all the enemies and/or completing a puzzle. Something that sets it apart from the others is the encounters with the other hunters that you must defeat or you lose a octualith. if you are defeated, you must chase down the hunter that defeated you and defeat them
ONLINE
new to the series, and fairly new to nintendo, is the option to play online. the game modes include: death-match, capture the flag, prime hunter, nodes, stock and more. you also have the option to play as the other hunters (sylux, weavel, spire, trace and kanden) the only problem that there is people who will cheat or mod.
BOTTOM LINE
