After recently surpassing the XBOX 360 in total world-wide console sales with the Wii and the DS selling millions, Nintendo has become the most valuable technology based company in Japan, and the second most valuable company overall (behind Toyota).
Thanks to Reuters UK it can now be seen that Nintendo's market value is now 8.39 trillion yen, or AU$84 billion, as of Tuesday.
Since the luanch of the DS, Nintendo's value has tripled and increased even further after the release of the Wii.
