The screens of the Nintendo DS play an important role in the systems make-up, not only are there 2 of them but the lower of them revolutionised portable gaming with it touch screen capabilities.
Currently Hitachi and Sharp are the companies who supply Nintendo with the screens for their portable console, and today both have undergone investigations for apparent price fixing.
Investigations were carried out by the Japan Fair Trade Commission reports Japan's Mainichi Shimbun Daily. The companies have been accused of price fixing in order to maintain profits on the screens they supply for the Nintendo DS.
