GAME ON, currently in Melbourne, will be presenting a world first on the 18th of March when they host a day dedicated to informing girls on careers in the videogame industry. The day is planned to promote the industry to enthusiastic woman who may possibly wish to enjoy a creative and very exciting career in videogame development as well as those girl gamers wanting to find out a little more about their passion.

During the Game Girls Gala Day there will be guest speaker such as established female game developers who will discuss experiences in what was once considered a male dominated industry. The GAME ON girls day will be held on Tuesday the 18th of March, 2008 between 9:30AM and 4:30PM.
