Is anyone old enough (or retro enough) to remember Infocom's text adventure games? Legendary stuff. The stuff of geek dreams. And you can have it on your DS. papafuji has ported a variety of text adventure interpreters to create a program that affords full stylus functionality. Use PDA-type handwriting to enter text or use a touch keyboard, use the on-screen buttons to select common actions, or swipe your stylus in the middle of a word to auto-complete it. His .nds files come pre-packaged with games for now, but he tells me that the next version of DS-Frotz will let you play any Z-Machine game you can get your hands on. People are still making text adventures that push the limits of the medium, and it would be a shame for anyone to miss out. Download the compilations from http://gugusse.central.free.fr/papafuji/adventures.html. You'll need to be able to run Homebrew on your DS.
