Okay well I'm trying to decide.
Should I buy the 30gb Zune or the 8gb Ipod nano?

I would buy the Zune in a heart beat but I want to know if anyone has a zune and uses Zune Martket place. I just want to know how it works. And if its not good then I'll get the ipod.

You should buy something that isn't a Zune or iPod. Both suck for their own reasons. A Creative is pretty good, as is the iRiver.

That's why I would never pay retail price for one, I got a 4gb nano buy redeeming credit card points, the next best thing I wanted that was available required a stupid amount of points plus I was in the market for an MP3 player.
I got the nano because it's small and I had itunes previously installed on my comp when my misses bought a shuffle a few moths ago, even though it's a pain using itunes to set up your ipod, the ipod it's self is still a good little unit even though it's over priced for what it is.
..and I'm definitely not a yuppie

Yeah, well, I bought an ipod to play music, and play music it does.
I understand what you're saying, somewhat, but I got an ipod when they wern't "cool".
Abercrombie? Maybe. Maostly due to the fact that I would like to play FM radio, view videos and other nifty things that ipods can't and wont deliver, unless you're willing to pay top dollar.
All in all, I am very happy with my ipod, and may have to accept the fact that alot of people are seeing the light (i.e other mp3 players), so to speak.

lol. Well my music is ever growing but all my family guy and soon to be getting Scrubs seasonall would take up alot! I would get the 80GB but there is a whopping 10 hours battery life difference for music and 2 hour for video with the 80GB and 160GB!!

I know in tests i the uk media personel says the creative zen had better usability and ease of use. They seemed to like it.
