General \ DS games from e bay

Hi guys, I would like to buy a DS lite for my 9 yr old daughter from e bay. It would come with R4ds, and 30 DS games (not GBA games ) of my choice (including latest titles) on a sandisk included with the R4ds (please excuse my terminologies , I dont know to much about this subject). Anyway, my concern is, that if the games can be played like normal 'single' ds games i.e. will they appear on both screens and be stylus pen compatible. Also as their would not be any paper instructions for the games, would this make it a hassle to learn and play the games (only some game instructions can be downloaded from the net), or are they pretty straight forward to play without them. Is their on screen instructions as you play? I have never played a DS and dont know anyone who owns one.

r4ds are perfectly normal and you can play the games with both screens just like normal ds games would allthough you would have 2 find the game instructions/controlls on the net but if u can not find them i guess u dont realy need them coz your daughter will pick them up as she goes allong

The games you pick will work perfectly as normal games would. The R4 is a great piece of kit.
DS games are genrally pretty easy to pick up and play so i'd imagine learning the buttons to the games won't take very long.

The games themselves usually have explanatory screens or tutorial or of the like as to which button does what but the vast majority its pretty easy to get a grasp of

GameFAQs.com should have listings of the games and in one of the walkthroughs for said game you are after, controls of the game

The added bonus of the R4DS is that you can put songs onto the card and play them from your DS as well, if you don't happen to already own an mp3 player that is, its a good alternative.

Plus there is a plethora of homebrew applications if you ever want to get into that sorta thing, even run SNES games

It is if the seller has the actual games that is. I highly doubt it but they wouldnt say I'd imagine. Just like how song Hong Kong eBay people say PSP Slim and 2GB with CFW 3.71 M33 and 15 games or so. All on the MS.
