Pro's:
*Comes with a wireless controller that charges when you plug it into the PS3 whenever you want to.
*Most games like Burnout Paradise have some very nice online function that you can quit and get into anytime during the game.
*The graphics are amazing and the sound in teh game is usually top notch.
*Online is free if oyu have an internet chord that can reach your computer.
*And online arcade and updates are much less complicated to do than a 360's.

Con's:
*Does not have Halo or GoW games.
*The size of the platform is inconvient.
*You might need to buy new cooling fans or something to keep it cool because the ones it comes with are tiny and the PS3 will LITERALLY melt if left on too long.
*And finally the 80 gig version has been recalled due to glitches that would destroy the console or crash and destroy your game (rumored to be brought on by the PS2 game playability) so that leaves you with teh 40gig version. which i have and so far nothing bad to report.

I do believe the xbox 360 entertainment system is a more capable piece of hardware.

Yes Blu-ray is a "cool" feature. Many people can't properly use it and other simply don't care. As a games console the 360 is currently superior

i like halo, but that's the only thing i like on xbox and halo's on PC anyway.

if you're a multimedia person, compare what one console has and what another console doesn't have.
ps3 - bluray, photos, music, video, free online.
xbox - i have no idea what it can do. all i know is pay for online and HD-DVD (which is useless.)

GT5, MGS4 and Tekken 6 are (at the moment) the only PS3 games i want out of the whol library. For 360, i only want Fable 2, which will come out for PC eventually too.
