This game started a whole new dimension of pokemon.The game has been remade from a game called pokemon blue/red released for the Gameboy colour in 1995. When this game was released a whole new game was shoved into millions of people's pockets. Storyline: The story for this game is fantastic trying to stop the evil team rocket and trying to save the land of pokemon. Team Rocket are causing chaos all over pokeland and it is your job to save everyone. Your aim is to become a pokemon master and make it up to the finish of the game which is the elite four which consists of 4 people and one champion of the game which will be your rival. You start off in the the place called Pallet Town which there you will recieve your first pokemon from a great proffesor called Proffesor Oak. Gameplay:The gameplay consists of running around in designated areas in the wild in which running in the grass will make you find a pokemon every 5-10 steps. Killing these pokemon will result in you gaining exp points made for levleling up your pokemon and making them stronger and gaining stronger moves. The game is a bit repetative with you just killing pokemon and other things but some very good events happen in the game. I gave gameplay a 8/10 Sound:The sound is one of the great bits of the game that you can just listen to and the music will change when you move town to town and route to route moving consistantly. The sound can get a bit repetative and eventually bore you to death. I gave sound 9/10 Graphics:The graphics are splended from the other games that were released and theses games are based off.There not the best graphics you can get but they're still very good for a hand-held console. I gave graphics 9/10 Post-Game:This is a good thing about the game that has nothing to do with the original. Once you beat the elite four and you have caught over 60 types of pokemon you will be given a national pokedex making it that you can see pokemon from ruby/sapphire and the johto region. You will travel out to the sevii islands and search for more species of pokemon to try and complete your pokedex.Nothing really much to do in post game except try and be the best of your friends and level up your pokemon. There are some very good pokemon that are only to be caught by going to a nintendo event held uncommonly.These pokemon may only be seen like this or of course you have a hacking device. Overall:This game is great to try and finish and you will gain alot of knowledge about pokemon by finishing this game as it teaches you main things about the pokemon region and move types and other things.
