The Nintendo WiFi USB connector is an accessory developed by Nintendo in conjunction with Buffalo Technology. This device allows both the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii to connect to a broad band connected PC to allow internet access and on-line gaming.

i saw one for $50 in EB Games. if you have a wifi compatible DS game (i.e. Mario Kart DS) then u plug this onto ur computer and play online with other players around the world. i got one but i dont use it anymore

yeh just go to control panel then network & internet connections and near the bottom theres a tab that says Windows firwall click on that. Thn this thing pops up an click on the tab that says exceptions and it will have this list of programs its blocking, then just untick whatever u want to unblock!

I don't own one of these but I think there is an application associated with the device am I correct? If it's just a driver, I can't really help you there.
But if it's an application, try running the application in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 2 by right clicking the application icon, go to properties, then go to the compatibility tab.
Now in case you get any weird errors, try turning off your anti-virus.
See how you go from there.

The USB dongle thingo doesn't work with Vista, only with XP.. you could either get a wireless router, or revert to windows XP on your laptop, unless you wanna do a dual boot or something like that so you can have both XP and Vista.. Just partition a little space for XP so you can play wi-fi on DS hehehe.

there are other usb wifi dongles out there that do AP mode. my partner has successfully used one of these to get his ds lite online (at LANs o_0).
i suspect that they should work with macs.

I want this thing so badly. There are people on the reveiw sheets on ebgames in america say all of the it can't do that they think it will do. Like be able to go on your comp by using tv. It is only for a wireless internet connection. not for anything else.

hey desi if you have a dlink router that doesnt work with the ds wifi try updating the firmware i did with mine and it work like i charm but then we ended up buyin a new router when we got ADSL2+
