News \ Nintendo Wii and DS Are 'Kid Friendly'

A survey conducted of 4700 children aged between 6 and 12 in the U.S.A demonstrated that children truly love the Nintendo Wii. The DS came in at second only to the company's other machine.

The Playstation (unknown whether 2 or 3) came in at 14, securing a good spot, whilst the Xbox 360 arrived at number 42.

since i could remember nintendo focus was on the youmger genaration ( i may be wrong) but the last quarter nintendo has has invited all age groups to their popular franchise
still the nintendo consoles are more popular with kids as such rather than the older folks
