The MyMedia Community Update it back! From now on it'll be updated each week on Monday to keep you up to date with the latest happenings across the MyMedia Network. Remember if you want to suggest something to be included in the update email community@mymedia.net.au or Send a PM.
Medal - Where's R.O.B?
Yes it's true this medal was on MyWii and finished there, but there's still some left on MyDS! To get a R.O.B medal you'll have to tell us where he has been, from what I've heard he has been checking out the competition to see what they have been up to. My sources also tell me that he has been seen on the following sites:

• MyPS3.com.au
• MyPSP.com.au
• MyBluRay.com.au
Jump over to the medal thread for all the details you only need to find 2, however if you find all 4 medals you'll also get a cool NES Zapper medal which will be essential to rise to the rank of coolest kid in school.
New Badges
Yeah we told everyone about the new badge system at MyDS in the last Community Update, but it's just so awesome or radical if you will that we have to remind everyone again!
In a nut shell, you can score a rank badge based on how long you've been hanging around MyDS and your kudos level. Does it mean you have ultimate power over other members? No. Does it mean you can get into swish night clubs? Nup. Does it mean you can silently feel cooler than everyone else? Probably. If you want one (or simply want to see how far you missed the requirements by and chew yourself up all week about it) head over to MyDS and have a lookie at the badge thread!

No, I didn't say that. I said we don't want to be supporting something that may be false. If your news article isn't in a MyMedia Community Update and it is a correct news piece then that's our loss, no need to complain about it.
If it's news that's official, from Nintendo and confirmed, and it just happens that a member posted it, it may be featured in one of these updates. Currently, the 'New DS' thing is only a rumour.

Some of this things put up weren't the "hottest", but it's called promoting the site, trying to get more members etc.
Promoting the site on the site itself and how is promoting admin news different promoting actual news members post that could be a lot better, it shows that admins don't stand above normal members which is potrayed in some ways.

What was considered hottest news came down to quality as well, Gaetano is obviously a professional and trying to find he best stuff on 8 sites is difficult so it's a safe bet going with his stuff.
