Super Mario 64 DS - 9/10

Story
Super Mario 64 DS is a version of the N64 one. You start off as yoshi searching the castle for mario, luigi and wario. You are also jumping through different pictures to do different levels. Some levels need certain characters to complete. You will earn stars as you complete different levels and will verse a couple of bowsers. Each level has a different atmosphere for example the fire island will have lava and the ice island will have snow. Each of the levels get harder and harder until you verse a boss which is sometimes hard. But the main thing is to rescue princess peach from the evil bowser.

Gameplay
The Gameplay is the original D-Pad and buttons which is easier than the touch screen. The camera is a problem where at some stages you can't move it. The original buttons are the best to use on Super Mario 64 DS. The gameplay is really good on levels and for bosses. Also a lot of the tricks are back which is nice. The map at the bottom screen is really help full if you get lost. The Health bar is there to remind you how much health you got.



Character
Super Mario 64 DS has a lot of characters. There are ones that are playable and some not. The Character you start off as is yoshi, you work your way through the castle and unlock mario by doing a secret level, the same with luigi and wario. You can change character anytime. Each character has a special ability when they get the magic flower. Mario can float like a balloon, luigi can turn invisible, yoshi can breathe fire and wario can turn metal. These Characters all run to the castle at the start to act like a hero and save princess peach. There are also the villains, which bowser is the main villain, he kidnaps Princess Peach. The other villains are stuff like Bomb-om, Goomba, Koopa and a couple of other new ones. The bosses are the hardest villains to defeat.

Graphics
The Graphics in Super Mario 64 DS are very good. They captured every character good. Mario looks so real now same with luigi,yoshi and wario. The level designs are very smart now. They captured the villains good. Bowser looks the best he is so much better now compared to the old one. The Graphics are very impressive for a handhold.



Sound
The sound in Super Mario 64 DS was very nice. It had all the classic tunes from the old one. The sound effects are good like when bowser talks or you get a coin or you step on a villain. The sound for the boss fights are awesome they have dramatic tunes like when you verse bowser or ice man. The sounds are very good reminds you of the old one.

Mini-games
The mini-games in Super Mario 64 DS are good, it is a nice feature to the game, there is rabbits roaming the grounds in the castle or outside you catch the rabbits and they give you mini-games each character has different mini-games there is puzzle, action, table and adventure. There is also a multiplayer mode for mini-games which is fun, there is also a multiplayer star game which is okay. The Mini-games are fun to play.

Value
The value in Super Mario 64 DS is very good, it has gotten high scores from critics and sites. It is just a good adventure game with a lot of depth, and i recommend it a very good DS game.
