Narnia (Prince Caspian) DS - 8/10

This game starts off with you learning how to move attack and ect. You play as The Prince of the town the kings nephew the king has a baby and you have to be killed. you are suprised in your sleep and must escape your home village. Thus following the story of the movie. Having seen the movie before playing game makes it alot more understandable. You escape into a forrbidion fortold woods that scare off the village from old stories. You are attacked by some gaurds and rescued by Narnians. A dwarf and a Skunk thing. These two people now join your party, (which can only consist of 3 people. you go off on a mission along the way you recruit a few more people to join your party which you can switch in and out. You battle with all three people in your party characters have different ways of attacking.

As you run into a monster you go into a battle. All characters have a time limit to succure there attacks

Attack Style 1) You must slide the stylus across a line the faster the better. The lines are Diagnol Horizontle and vertical

2) Simmilar to the first one but the lines curve.

3) A sheild is in the centre of the touch screen an amount of swords slide away from the sheild. You must rub the swords for the swords to go back to the sheild, the more swords that hit the more attacks your character performs.

4) Four swords Close into together the stronger the attack you must hit as soon as the swords clash( simmilar to EBA)

5) For characters with bows such as susan, a target appears on the screen, you must pivot the bow and drag the string back to shoot the arrow and hit the target.

6) This is the last attack i know of but there may be more. you must slide a hammer down onto a anvil rock thing. the closer to the center of the rock the higher the damage.

You move your character by sliding teh stylus on the screen your character followss the stylus. you can change the party leader the party leader is the one shown when moving.

The Storyline goes on and on as you kill monsters you gain EXP and increase your level. Using Items you find you can increase attack and defense and so on for a limit of time. You can also use the items to upgrade charcters which i think just makes them stronger. As you go through the game all different partys that you have Eg.Prince Caspians Party at the start meet up with the Childrens party(Susan Lucy Edmund Peter) and the monsters and missions get harder. This Game is definetly worthwile if you have a Super Card download this game. If you like the RPG type games
Buy this from a store, The battleing isnt like a turn based fight unless your relly slow. the faster you are at selecting you characters and who they will attack will make you untouchable. you can fight a monster with more than 1 character.






GAMEPLAY
The Gameplay is very good as ive allready told you about it i will just summerise. The Gameplay is an RPG type adventure with alot of battling. Your Character can go up levels and if you want you could just kill monsters get a realy high level and cruise through the main storyline. The Gameplay is fun & exciting with new mission just about being found on every map.



STORY
The story is just like the movie/book. You are a prince in a town in narnia that setterlers that accidently discoverd narnia(not knowing what narnia is or was)settled and built up a town completely normal. Storys of Dwarve and Centaurs and the Son's of Adams and Daughters of Eve. The Princes father was a king who died and the princes uncle took over the post. The prince is the next king in line and the rightful owner of the crown. The king has a child and sends his gaurds to kill the prince. He escapes into woods knowing ot much but stories of Narnia. You relay must see the film to fully understand this but overall the storyline isnt bad. Between Main changes your are informed of the story by turning you DS sideways & reading like a book this is used to keep the story going. the Stroyline is Good and like the movie/book.

CONTROLS
The controls are fairly easy but attacking has a small learning curve. once you have mastered this it is very easy and dosnt get boring.


GRAPHICS
The Graphics of just moving around arnt that great well its not like thell be winning medals or something. But... When you go into battle its a whole different story! The graphics are great especially when the camera zooms into a character attacking the camera is on a side veiw when in battle.



SOUND
The sound is average good not bad not extremly awesome like TWEWY but not horrible. they are jusdt in the middle and keep the game alive not to special though.



VALUE

I guess its pretty good just like any other game if it takes your fancy well think about it. its a good RPG
