Lets start off this review by saying that the Ds lite is 21% lighter than the DS. has 42% less volume than the DS it has a Extended battery life compared to the DS. with a 100mah battery com pared to a 850mah. the new ds is also more Brighter, more durable top and bottom LCD screens, with four levels of brightness. [The option of turning the backlight off in the main menu has been removed.] and it has a larger stylus which is easier to hold . The D-pad was reduced to 16% smaller than the DS, but the A, B, X, and Y buttons retain the same dimensions. The Start and Select buttons have been relocated under the A, B, X, and Y buttons, and are smaller than the original buttons. there are 8 colors that the new Ds Lite come in: Ice Blue, Enamel Navy, Polar White , Coral Pink , Onyx/Black , Metallic Rose, Gloss Silver, Crimson/Onyx, and Cobalt/Black Different extension connections make incompatible to accessories for the Game Boy Advance EXT2 port The new connector is used for the power cord only. The power button is now a power slider . The power and charging indicator lights are now located on the right hinge. and the built-in microphone is now located between the top and bottom screens of the DS Lite. 9/10 in my opinion its the best thing nintendo's got on the market.
